The programs funded by the Public Benefits Charge of our electric bills collectively address issues presented by our energy system. Those include greenhouse gases, air pollution, and rising costs.
The above video was the basis of my presentation to Wilton Go Green's CT Energy Future gathering at the Wilton Public Library, March 14, 2026.
The video summarizes who gets helped by System Benefits programs, recaps the 2024 electric bill spike, and shows how Energy Efficiency, Solar, and EV Managed Charging reduce bills for everyone, whether they've done these things or not. The video link will be updated here as new information becomes available.
